Red Wings to Retire Federov’s Jersey Tonight


After decades of waiting, fans will finally get to see Sergei Federov’s famous number 91 hit the rafters at Little Caesars Arena tonight.


The Russian prodigy was drafted by the Wings in 1989, winning three Stanley Cups with the team and scoring 400 goals, the 4th-most in franchise history, before leaving in 2003.


Federov’s jersey retirement ceremony will be held before tonight’s game against the Hurricanes. Fans are encouraged to be in their seats by 5:35 p.m. to catch the full ceremony.

Michigan Had 27th-Worst Credit Score Decrease in America


A new study from WalletHub showed the average credit score in Michigan to have decreased by five points, or 0.75% in 2025, the 27th-worst mark nationally.


The study, which measured and ranked all 50 states, found Missouri to have the single-largest drop in credit score nationally of around 10 points.


The best-performing state in the study was Utah, with only a single-point drop. You can see the full survey with a map of states here.



ICE Arrests Up Over 100% in Michigan in 2025


New data released by the Department of Homeland Security pushed Michigan’s arrest numbers to over an 100% increase over the previous year, with the state surpassing 2,300 arrests in 2025.


The data released by DHS showed the most arrests having occured in July with 352, which is over three times higher than the highest month from President Biden’s final year in office.


Of those arrested by ICE in Michigan last year, nearly three-quarters did not have criminal convictions. You can see a graph comparing both years’ arrest numbers here.
